When it comes to foldable e-bikes, the ENGWE Engine Pro 750W doesn’t disappoint in terms of speed, comfort, or handling. The small size of this bike isn’t a factor when you consider the versatility of the ride and the sheer acceleration.
Fat-tire folding e-bikes are becoming increasingly popular for good reason. This bike is no exception. Compact enough to fit in a trunk, the ENGWE Engine Pro 750W is easily assembled, conveniently storable, and fun to ride. This could be the perfect beginner ride based on the technical specifications and design qualities.
The impressive 48V geared rear hub brushless motor integrates six-spoke mag wheel design. The engine enlists regenerative braking which reinforces a small amount of juice back into the batter while the rider is coasting. The motor employs a planetary gear system to improve the bike’s efficiency. As the name declares, its maximum power output is 750 watts, but a fully charged battery provides it with additional speed. Even the steepest inclines are no match for the Engine Pro 750W, providing plenty of power and an effortless riding experience.
Unlike the older version, this bike has a 48V 12.8Ah/16Ah battery which packs a power you don’t see much at this price. Charging time is about 5-6 hours which allows the rider to travel up to 62 miles while in pedal assist mode. The battery is removable but can still be charged in the frame when on the go.
For speed demons, the Engine Pro 750W is equipped with left-hand thumb throttle, which as you can imagine, incessant use will cut the riding range almost in half to around 31 miles. Pedal assist gives you a choice of 5 configurable assist levels so you can always find suitable support. This e-bike enlists 3 riding modes – manual for user pedaling, pure electric that lets the bike do the work, and hybrid that gives the rider a boost of speed and effortless pedaling.
Once the bike reaches speed, the bike has a cruise control feature which is controlled just under the throttle. The traditional use of cadence pedal sensors allows ease of use and smooth operation. Needless to say, the Engine Pro 750W doesn’t have a problem getting you from point A to point B.
This ENGWE has a sturdy build, so its design is suitable for riders of different shapes and sizes. The handlebars are 560mm/22inch wide aluminum alloy, and the saddle is made from PVC leather; 260mm*200mm/8.66inch*7.87 inch. Handlebar and saddle adjustment is a sinch for accommodating even the tallest rider, but the reach is a little long and the height of the handlebars is quite high, even when adjusted to the lowest setting.
The rear shock suspension coupled with 20inch*4inch beefy tires provides extra comfort on rough terrain. Even with a heavy rider, the suspension can perform maximum shock absorption. The dual coil spring suspension forks are thick and employ lock-out and preload adjustments. Fat tires are great in terms of rolling resistance and all-terrain domination. This bike is equipped with hydraulic brakes which help with handling and maintenance of the machine.
The frame is made from 6061 aluminum and gives off a rugged look and has a load capacity of 300 pounds. There is a tough rear integrated rack for convenience and carry-on. The added rack carries a sense of utility in cases of grocery shopping, delivery, and passenger carrying. Even at a heavy weight of 82 pounds including the battery, folding the bike is easy. Including the tires and handlebars, the bike is 51 inches tall*66 inches long unfolded, and 32 inches tall*30 inches long in its folded position. While extremely compact folded, the weight may require a second hand to lift into a trunk or truck bed. Once it’s up, it can be simply rolled alongside the rider for easy transit.
One of the cool new tech features on the Engine Pro 750W is the display. The bright screen is full color and packed with customization characteristics and functionality. Your mileage, pedal assist modes, speed, and battery usage can be seen in outside lighting conditions thanks to the powerful KD986 LCD screen. Another essential accessory on the bike is LED rear and front headlights.
This bike is extremely personable and tailor-made for the convenience and comfortability of the rider and taillights for driving at any point of the day. For the price point of $1,449.99, the features and specs are very impressive and give other e-bikes a run for their money. The Engine Pro 750W comes in black, gray, and blue color choices, and ENGWE provides assembly tools, manuals, and warranties out of the box to ease the minds of the lucky new e-bike owners.
ENGWE’s Engine Pro 750W high-performance e-bike is a master of speed and handling. The weight may pose a challenge, but this may be a small price to pay for the value and performance you’ll get with this bike. This is a good financial investment for beginners and veteran e-bike riders looking for a smooth, fun, and powerful new ride.
